Receiving Associate

I.K. Hofmann has openings for the position of Receiving Associate in Duncan, SC for our client in the automotive industry.

We are seeking Heavy Lifters for this new job opportunity! If you are able to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk/move for the duration of an 10 hour shift than you would be a great fit for our Receiving Associate position!

Responsibilities of a Receiving Associate:

  • Load/Unload trucks for the shipping/receiving department
  • Transport products to assigned areas, by carrying and lifting them, ensuring that safety measures are kept in mind.
  • Assist in creating and maximizing space within storage areas, to ensure that further shipments can be managed.
  • Clean and maintain assigned areas, ensuring that proper instructions are followed.
  • Operate a Forklift safely and within guidelines
Requirements for Receiving Associate:
  • 1 year of loading/unloading experience
  • 1 year of forklift operating experience
  • Must be able to consistently lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and move continuously during working hours.
  • Willingness to work a rotating 1st/2nd shift schedule
    • 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
    • 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM

Required Education for a Receiving Associate:

  • HS Diploma or GED
